About the Workshops
Hey everyone!

My name is Komal Gupta, and growing up, I have struggled with feeling confident in my own skin, dealing with negative thoughts about my body, and feeling the pressure to fit unrealistic beauty standards.

The workshops I offer are my way of sharing my journey and the tools I've discovered along the way. I believe that everyone deserves to feel good about themselves, no matter what their shape, size, or background.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can talk openly about our insecurities, challenge negative self-talk, and learn to appreciate the amazing bodies we have. I also hold some fun activities towards the end, depending on the age group of my audience.

I may not be a professional, but I'm passionate about this topic and I'm here to listen, share, and learn together. Let's build a community of self-acceptance and embrace our unique beauty, inside and out.
Stay Bright Always,
Komal Gupta.

Hey everyone!
I wanted to tell you all about the amazing experience I had at my boarding school hosting body positivity workshops. I've had the honour of working with some of my Grade 11 classmates as well as the girls in Grades 6 and 7 from the girls' dormitory during the past few days.
The workshops challenged the unattainable beauty standards that permeate our society in an effort to promote a culture of self-love and acceptance. Everyone felt free to express themselves in a safe environment that we created through activities, candid conversations, and the sharing of personal tales.
It was really encouraging to see the girls support one another and watch their confidence improve. We can be so powerful when we band together to support one another.
The overwhelming support I've received on my body positivity blog has also overwhelmed me. The sheer number of people that find resonance in the message of valuing our individuality and accepting ourselves for who we are as humans is astounding.
In general, facilitating these peer discussions and raising awareness has been a rewarding experience that has served as a reminder to me of the significance of promoting self-acceptance and kindness in our community. Let's keep uplifting one another and celebrating our bodies!
